Jerrod Johnson, DVM, DABVP (c/f), CVPP
Dr. Jerrod Johnson received his Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of the Cumberlands in 2007. In 2011, he graduated from Auburn University’s College of Veterinary Medicine and is currently a partner and managing DVM for NVA Gateway Veterinary Management Group, LLC.
Dr. Johnson is a diplomate of the American Board of Veterinary Practice in canine and feline practice and is a Certified Veterinary Pain Practitioner (CVPP). He is also certified in companion animal pain management and an active consultant in rehab, sports medicine, and chronic pain for VIN.
Dr. Johnson is an Elite Fear-Free certified professional, a member of the International Veterinary Academy of Pain Management, and a member of the International Association for the Study of Pain.
Dr. Johnson’s professional interests include soft tissue, orthopedic, minimally invasive surgery, and pain management; specifically the use of regional and local anesthesia to alleviate pain. He is passionate about furthering the future of the profession through mentorship and teaching.
