Dr. Douglas Edward Wojcik is a highly respected veterinarian with deep roots in both his community and his profession. Born in Wheeling, WV, but raised in New York, Dr. Wojcik now resides in Manlius, NY, where he has dedicated his career to the compassionate care of animals and the nurturing of the human-animal bond. He earned his BS in Biology from Cornell University in 1990, followed by his DVM from the University of Minnesota in 1994.

As an mDVM and JV Partner at Liverpool Village Animal Hospital, Dr. Wojcik has a special interest in the care of small animals and exotics, emphasizing a collaborative approach that treats both the patient and the client as a unified family. His commitment to the well-being of pets and their owners drives his involvement in the Medical Advisory Board, where he aims to support others in maintaining focus on the critical relationship between pets and their owners.

Beyond his professional life, Dr. Wojcik is passionate about farming, business coaching, home improvement, and gardening. He is deeply involved in his community through his work with the Young Life Christian Youth Organization and the Central New York Lyme and Tick-Borne Disease Alliance. He enjoys spending time with his wife, Brenda, and their family, which includes their daughter Sophia, son Devin, daughter-in-law Brittany, and grandson Noah, along with their beloved pets—two cats, Marbles and Poe, two dogs, Tucker and Bonnie, and four horses, Cassie, Masi, Joey, and Shaker.
